Process Overview:
Plant material containing xylan hydrolysis by xylanase obtained xylose solution mass fraction is generally 4%. Xylose to get the powder, the method currently used is the solution distilled to xylose content of 20% or more, and then spray drying. The process energy consumption is high, which energy distillation process more than 60% of total energy consumption. Membrane separation technology is a new environmentally friendly low energy separation method, the advantage is that the device does not produce waste, the solution components to be separated in the separation process and no phase changes, low energy consumption, simple structure compact.
